God allows us to join in multiplying beauty in nature. Many years ago I developed a passion for gardening which remains. Hibiscus’ are one of my favorite flowers and I even considered trying to create new varieties thru grafting (a missed dream!). There are about 200 core species of hibiscus – but literally thousands of varieties have been cultivated by humans – creating exponentially more beauty! Creator God has gifted us as co-creators to maximize beauty. The best way to maximize creativity was to create creators!

Long ago my grandmother loved to go to the beauty parlor. Are you old enough to remember those contraptions they would stick over their head?

The beauty parlor, now much more sophisticated, dispenses beauty. That’s why they are so popular. Everyone wants to be beautiful.

For me, nature is a beauty parlor. God’s creation is chock full of beauty. It dispenses a never-ending stream into my eyes and soul. I hope it makes me more beauty-full!
My travels through America’s National Parks and around the world have filled me with beauty and majesty beyond my wildest imagination…and calls up deep reverence inside. I think most of us have had that feeling while gazing upon an awesome vista. Just as art is a window into the artist, creation is a window into The Artist!
