We live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. We have been married for over 35 years and have a daughter, three sons, a son-in-law, a grandson, and a granddaughter. Stan has a BS in Business from Baylor and an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Vicky has a BS in Marketing from Penn State is almost finished with a Master of Theological Studies (MTS). We met in our first job out of college. Vicky is from PA and Stan from TX. We both love sports. We have managed to stay together despite the fact Vicky is an Eagles fan and Stan is a Cowboys fan.

Stan launched three non-profit “businesstries” (www.apartmentlife.org, www.lionheartkid.org, and www.campskylark.com). He describes a businesstry as a ministry (501C3) with an integrated business/revenue model. This provides spiritual focus and effectiveness with the scalability and sustainability that a business model provides – a powerful combination!

Vicky worked in the corporate world for a while, then homeschooled the children through seventh grade. The children then went on to various schools—charter, private, hybrid, and public. They all graduated from public schools and went on to college. Over the years Vicky also taught aerobic classes for 24 Hour Fitness (20 years), taught French in a private Christian school, taught in homeschool co-ops, served in Homeschool organizations, and volunteered in a multitude of church and civic programs. She still teaches some fitness classes and engages in volunteer work (Daughters of Abraham, Braver Angels, and 6Stones).

We are “retired” in the employment sense, but not retired from life! We are engaged with our children and grandchildren as well as our church. We also enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, and above all—travelling. We have interests in science, philosophy, and theology as well as learning quirky new things about people and the world.
