Evolution as historically understood is an endangered species.  It is going extinct – at least how it has operated since Creation.  This extinction is being brought about by radical change in one of evolution’s fundamental mechanisms – random mutation. 

Random mutation is rapidly becoming non-random mutation.  Intentional mutation.  Mutations made by us humans as we gain greater ability to control and manipulate genomes. See Genome.   We are entering the epoch of the genome.  Are we ready?
